As Jose Feliciano prepares for his unprecedented tour of the British Isles throughout October, November, and December with Jools Holland, including two evenings at London’s Royal Albert Hall, he releases a new version of the classic,
“The Streets of London”
together with famed, Austrian artist, Klaus Pruenster.
A tender song, first recorded in 1969 by its writer, Ralph McTell, it tells of his observations of a sad and deprived society where the ignored, homeless, and forgotten, living hopelessly in the streets, continue to carry on each day.
